April 26 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office will have several drop-off sites set up around Linn County.

April 26 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office will have several drop-off sites set up around Linn County. These sites can be used to dispose of any unwanted, unused, or expired medications in your home.
- Mill City, City Hall — 9:00-10:00 am, City Hall (444 S. 1st Avenue)
- Scio Fire Hall –10:30-11:30 am, Scio Fire Hall (38975 SW 6th Avenue)
- Halsey City Hall — 1:00-2:00 pm, City Hall (100 Halsey Street)
- Harrisburg City Hall — 2:30-3:30 pm, City Hall (120 Smith Street)
Accepted: Any type of prescription or over-the-counter medications are acceptable collections. Make sure lids are on tightly if they are liquid.
Not Accepted: Intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes, medical waste, and any type of needles are not accepted.
