Adult Mental Health First Aid
You will learn:
- Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.
- 5-Step action plan to help a person in crisis and non-crisis situations.
- How to connect a person to appropriate services and supports.
Class format and instructors:
Mental Health First Aid training includes presentations, discussions, small group activities, video clips and hands-on activities. There are two to three instructors for each training. Instructors are certified by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and have a variety of experience and knowledge around mental health and substance use issues.

Offered without cost to you by Linn County Health Services. Certification will be provided.

Location: The Linn County Armory Building is located at 104 SW 4th Ave, Albany (corner of 4th and Lyons in downtown Albany).
